UAE
Sharjah is the third populous and largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates and due to its cultural affiliation the city is visited by millions of tourists.
It is the capital city of the Emirates of Sharjah and shares all kinds of political, cultural relationships with the rest of the Emirates. Sharjah sits next to Dubai geographically and can be comfortably considered as its suburbs, as many people work in Dubai and live in Sharjah.
Since the 18th century, Sharjah has been under the rule of the Al Qasimi Empire. The city has also been named as a ‘healthy city’ by WHO. Due to the influence of Islamic values alcohol is forbidden in Sharjah, and the restaurants and hotels do not serve it. Since Sharjah is the dry state bars, pubs, nightclubs are almost non-existent. Due to the same reason Sharjah holidays have become a popular destination for Muslim tourists.
