Sphinx Airport will receive the first Wiz Air flights coming from Milan carrying 247 passengers
Sphinx International Airport received the first Wiz Air flight coming from Malpensa (Milan), Italy, carrying 247 passengers. This comes as a continuation of the success of Sphinx International Airport in attracting more international airlines.
For his part, the pilot Ahmed Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Airports Company, gave instructions to receive the plane well and provide all services and facilities to the passengers to the fullest extent.
Indeed, the flight was received with a warm welcome from the airport staff, as they received the passengers with gifts and completed their arrival procedures in record time.
They wished to see them frequently at the airport.
The plane was received by the Italian ambassador to Egypt, the Italian and Hungarian commercial attaché, in addition to the Hungarian ambassador and the president of Wiz Air and New Star.
An operating schedule for the flight was set at five flights per week for both Milan and Rome flights. This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s efforts to stimulate air traffic and attract more European tourism to Egypt.
