Sputnik: Russian airlines operate 10 flights per week to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada
Russian tourists, commenting on the return of Russian tourism to Egypt, said that they are very happy with the return of Russian tourism to Egypt, stressing that they were not expecting this decision, according to what was reported by the Russian “Sputnik” agency.
Others said: "They are happy with the great reception in Egypt, stressing that they decided to come on the first plane as soon as the decision to return tourism to it was issued, especially since they no longer had to go to Turkey to come here.
On Monday 09 Aug 2021 , a flight carrying 500 Russian tourists arrived at Sharm El-Sheikh Airport, while the number of tourists from Russia who arrived at Hurghada Airport on two flights reached 800.
It is noteworthy that Egypt Air operates 7 flights every week, 4 of which arrive at Hurghada Airport, while 3 flights transport Russian tourists to Sharm el-Sheikh. Russian airlines operate 10 flights a week, with an average of 5 flights to Sharm El Sheikh, in addition to 5 other flights to Hurghada Air port .
The average flights, which transport Russian tourists, are up to one trip per day, except for the two-weekly two days, Tuesday and Thursday.
