With 188 tourists on board... Taba Airport receives the first flights from Slovakia
Taba International Airport received the first plane coming from Bratislava Airport, the capital of Slovakia, carrying 188 tourists after a hiatus that lasted more than 10 years.
The plane was received with an imitation of water spraying, “Water Salut,” as an expression of welcoming the new plane and the tourists to the land of South Sinai.
Major General Muhammad Rashid, Director of Taba International Airport, headed a public relations team at the airport to receive passengers, facilitate arrival procedures, and salute their arrival to the land of the city of Taba by distributing souvenirs, in implementation of the directives of Lieutenant General Muhammad Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, and Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor. “Neptune” is scheduled to operate a weekly flight coming from Bratislava Airport in Slovakia, with the aim of stimulating tourism in South Sinai tourist resorts, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Civil Aviation to stimulate air traffic and open new tourist markets.
