  • For the gradual opening of museums and archaeological sites from early July: 5 museums and 8 archaeological sites reopened for visitors as a first stage: In light of the resumption of the tourist movement coming to Egypt as of early July, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has chosen a number of archaeological sites and museums to reopen them to the public as a first stage in preparation for the gradual opening of all museums and sites.
  • Dr. Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said that these museums and sites included five museums: the Nubian Museum, the Luxor Museum, the Egyptian Museum of Liberation and the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Coptic Museum, in addition to 8 archaeological sites are the temples of Abu Simbel and Philae temple in Aswan, and Karnak temple and Luxor temple and Deir el-Bahari ( Queen Hatshepsut temple) and cemeteries Valley of the Kings in Luxor, the Giza Pyramids area, and Salah El Din Castle in Cairo.
