A complete papyrus was found in the new Al-Ghurfiya collection, 18 meters long and in good condition
Dr. Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said that a complete papyrus was found in the new Gharfiyya excavation located in the Tuna al-Jabal antiquities area in Minya Governorate.
Dr. Waziri added that this papyrus ranges from 15 to 18 meters in length, explaining that this papyrus is in very good condition.
Dr. Waziri confirmed that this papyrus will be displayed in the Grand Egyptian Museum, explaining that this event was attended by a large number of museum directors who will choose some pieces for display in Egyptian museums located throughout the Republic.
