Celebration of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on the World Tourism Day
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities celebrated World Tourism Day, which happens on 27th September of each year, and this year coincides with the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the deciphering of ancient Egyptian writing and the creation of Egyptology in 1822.
The celebration took place in the garden of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the oldest Egyptian museum in the world and an icon of ancient Egyptian civilization for 120 years.
