Egypt opens airspace to Qatar flights.
The Egyptian airspace for Qatari planes will be opened by civil aviation in the first minute of Tuesday, January 12, after the issuance of the decision that would open the Egyptian airspace to Qatar's aviation, after the decision to close the airspace, which lasted nearly 3 and a half years.
According to the decision, Qatari planes can cross Egyptian airspace or land at its airports.
The sources also said that a study will be made to re-establish the flight schedules of the National Aviation Company and Qatar Airways during the coming days, after offering them to the customers of the two companies.
The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation had issued a decision to close the Egyptian airspace to Qatari aircraft crossing the airspace or scheduled on flight schedules between the two countries on June 6, 2017.
