Excavating a pink granite sarcophagus of “Ptah-Im-Wea”.
The Egyptian archaeological mission of the Faculty of Archeology at Cairo University succeeded in excavating a pink granite sarcophagus of “Ptah-Im-Wea”.
He was a high-ranking official from the reign of Ramses II.
The sarcophagus was found during excavations in the Saqqara area, south of the King Unas causeway.
