New Entry Regulations to Egypt regarding updating the health controls
Important notice to Egypt Air customers coming to
Egypt regarding updating the health controls, requirements and procedures
established at entry points, and the updates and developments related to
vaccination against the Corona virus.
With reference to the instructions issued by the
competent authorities of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, Egypt
Air informs its incoming customers who have certificates of vaccination against
the Corona virus as follows:
- Those coming with vaccination certificates
against the Corona virus from countries affected by the mutated strains of the
Corona virus in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam,
Sri Lanka, Brazil and Latin America, directly or indirectly, during the
previous 14 days, the following procedure is applied:
1- Reviewing the vaccination certificate in the
passenger’s possession against the Corona virus and accepting the certificates
approved in the country (issuing authority) without abrasion, striking out or
adding and containing a QR Code, and accepting these certificates after
verifying the authority issuing the certificate.
2- Performing an ID Now Covid-19 analysis. If the
result of the ID Now Covid 19 test is positive, a PCR is performed at the
arrival airport, and in the event that the PCR analysis is positive, the
passenger is transferred to the Fever Hospital or the designated hospital, and
the protocol established in this regard is applied.
- Arrivals with certificates of vaccination
against the Corona virus from countries not affected by the mutated strains of
the Corona virus, directly or indirectly, during the previous 14 days. Or add
and contain QR Code and accept these certificates after checking with the
issuing authority.
- Vaccines that have been approved by the World
Health Organization and the Egyptian Medicines Authority are approved, provided
that the time period is taken into account by the passage of 14 days from
receiving the second dose of vaccines given in two doses (Pfizer, AstraZeneca,
Moderna, Sinopharma, Sinovac or Sputnik) or the passage of 14 A day after
receiving the first dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
