The First American Lady in the Pyramids area of Giza
Saturday morning, US First Lady Jill Biden continued her tour of the pyramids area in Giza, where she was received by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Issa, Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Ambassador John Desrocher, the Acting US Ambassador to Cairo.
Within the realm of ancient Egyptian civilization, Dr. Biden began the tour by visiting the Sphinx and listening to an explanation about the history of the statue from Dr. Mostafa Waziri.
The American First Lady was keen to take some photographs.
Dr. Jill Biden expressed in her eyes the extent of her fascination with the immortal greatness of the pyramids of Egypt, as she looked at one of the most important pages of history, and the cradle of human civilization in the world.
