The ministers of tourism, antiquities and civil aviation visit the Cairo International Airport Museum
Upon their arrival at Cairo International Airport today, Saturday evening, after the end of their visit to South Sinai, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, visited Cairo International Airport Museum in Terminal 2, in order to find out the latest developments in it, in preparation for its opening soon. To become a new attractive element inside Cairo International Airport for visitors, expatriates and transit travelers
The two ministers instructed to make some modifications to the hall, which has an area of approximately 120 meters, in preparation for receiving the artifacts and display vases.
The museum includes about 100 artifacts carefully chosen by the Supreme Committee for Scenarios of Museums, from a number of Egyptian museums to reflect the various aspects of Egyptian civilization since the ancient Egyptian, Islamic and Coptic ages to express the various aspects of the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization.
The artifacts include mummies decorated with gilded cartoons and colorful drawings that were in the stores of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, and a statue of the winged Isis made of bronze, small statues from the Greek and Roman eras from the Suez National Museum, some pieces of fabric and carpets from the Islamic Museum and Other.
